1 Booking & Payments

• All bookings are confirmed only after receipt of a minimum advance payment of 25% of the total tour cost.
• The remaining balance must be paid before the commencement of the tour, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, or other methods specified by Trip To Spiti Travel.
• Prices are subject to change based on availability, government taxes, or unforeseen circumstances.

2 Cancellation & Refund Policy

• 30+ days before departure: 90% refund of advance (10% cancellation fee).
• 15–29 days before departure: 50% refund of advance.
• 7–14 days before departure: 25% refund of advance.
• Less than 7 days: No refund.
• No refunds for unused services, early departure, or delays caused by weather, landslides, or other force majeure events.

3 Travel Documentation & Responsibilities

• All travelers must carry valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Driving License) at all times.
• It is the traveler's responsibility to ensure they meet all entry requirements for Himachal Pradesh and protected areas.
• Travelers must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions at the time of booking.
• Trip To Spiti Travel reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who poses a risk to themselves or others.

4 Itinerary Changes & Force Majeure

• Itineraries are tentative and may be adjusted due to weather, road conditions, landslides, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events.
• In case of force majeure, Trip To Spiti Travel will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements but is not liable for additional costs.
• Any additional expenses incurred due to delays or route changes must be borne by the traveler.

5 Liability & Insurance

• Trip To Spiti Travel acts only as a coordinator and is not liable for personal injury, loss, damage, or theft during the tour.
• Travelers are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and adventure activities.
• Adventure activities such as biking, trekking, and high-altitude travel carry inherent risks. Participants assume full responsibility for their safety.

6 Code of Conduct & Responsible Tourism

• Respect local culture, traditions, and religious sites. Dress modestly in monasteries and villages.
• Do not litter. Carry back all non-biodegradable waste.
• Avoid using plastic bottles where possible; refill at designated water points.
• Support local homestays, artisans, and businesses during your journey.

7 Privacy & Data Usage

• We collect personal information solely for the purpose of processing bookings and providing services.
• Your data is never sold or shared with third parties except as required for tour operations (e.g., hotels, transport providers).
• By using our website, you consent to our use of cookies and analytics to improve user experience.

8 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• These terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in the courts of Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
• Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through mutual negotiation.
• If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to arbitration in Shimla as per the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
