Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Shimla Arrival & Explore

Arrive in Shimla. Check into your hotel and freshen up. Evening free to explore the Mall Road, Ridge, and Christ Church. Enjoy the winter chill and local Himachali cuisine. Overnight in Shimla.

Day 2: Shimla → Narkanda → Kalpa (220 km / 7-8 hrs)

After breakfast, drive towards Narkanda, known for its apple orchards and snow-covered slopes. Continue through Rampur and the Sutlej gorge to reach Kalpa. Enjoy stunning views of the Kinnaur Kailash range. Overnight in Kalpa.

Day 3: Kalpa → Kaza (200 km / 7-8 hrs)

Drive through the beautiful Kinnaur Valley, crossing the Khab confluence. Witness the dramatic change in landscape as you enter the Spiti Valley. Arrive in Kaza by evening. Overnight in Kaza.

Day 4: Kaza Local Sightseeing — Key, Kibber, Langza, Hikkim, Komic

Full day exploring the winter wonderland of Kaza. Visit the iconic Key Monastery, Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary, Langza (fossil village), Hikkim (world's highest post office), and Komic (world's highest motorable village). Overnight in Kaza.

Day 5: Kaza → Chitkul (via Kalpa) (210 km / 8-9 hrs)

After breakfast, begin your journey towards Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border. Drive back through the Kinnaur Valley, stopping at Kalpa for lunch. Reach Chitkul by evening. Overnight in Chitkul.

Day 6: Chitkul → Shimla (220 km / 8-9 hrs)

Spend the morning exploring Chitkul — walk along the frozen Baspa River and enjoy the snow-covered landscapes. After lunch, drive back to Shimla. Overnight in Shimla.

Day 7: Shimla Departure

After breakfast, check out and depart from Shimla with beautiful memories of your Winter Spiti Expedition. Tour ends.
